Back in 2007 when I started this photoblog, I committed to posting a photo every day. I managed to stay with that frequency for almost two years, but then I started to get busy with work and I decided to post only when I felt I had relevant material.
The problem with that decision was that as I got busier with work, I had less time to make new photos, and then I got to a point when it was unfrequent for me to post new material and visit other photoblogs. Thinking about what was happening with Parallax I realized that it felt to me as if I had abandoned the project.
For this year I decided to get back on posting photographic material regularly, on a daily basis, but I must admit that I had forgotten how challenging this can be, as sometimes I have no idea what to post or write.
Reflecting back on the purpose of the Parallax project, I think the main idea is to share with you my vision of the world, those moments I have lived and seen that are interesting to me or that serve as an inspiration to me. The photos I post are an exploration of different topics and they can be either artistic, abstract, personal or documentary.
The Parallax project is a record of selected frames of my life, frames that will serve as a visual memoir of what I have been thinking, feeling and seeing.
