Flying Back Home

Posted by
Alfredo J. Martiz J. (Panama City, Panama) on 5 April 2009 in Landscape & Rural.

Three years have passed since I arrived to Japan. During this time I have tried to nurture myself, grow as a human being, learn from great people I've met, and absorb positive things from an unknown environment.
The time has come for me to travel back to my country after completing an academic goal. These three years have been incredible in my life, I met wonderful people, made fantastic friends, worked with a variety of creative individuals on inspiring projects, discovered new skills I never thought I had, and got married to a warm and wonderful person.
This photoblog started only with the idea of sharing photos with my family but it grew into something else, a different environment or platform (call it as you like) where I could express myself in a different artistic field. Most of the photos I have posted here are inspired from the constant exposure to a culture and environment I am learning from and trying to understand.
This is not a goodbye, just a transition to a new chapter of life, one that I am excited about and that will have all my dedication and effort in order to achieve new goals for me as an Architect.
I thank you for all your support and encouragement during this time. I have no idea what kind of photography will come up during this new phase of my life that will be staged in Panama, but it will be fun to discover. See you soon!
