Synergy

Posted by
Alfredo J. Martiz J. (Panama City, Panama) on 25 May 2008 in Art & Design and Portfolio.

Synergy is an interaction between two or more agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects. The process that takes shape after the visualization of a piece of art or architecture is that of understanding, acceptance or refusal, and reinterpretation. If we establish a relation with the element we will always go back to it to find new meanings, this means that the work has changed from the physical plane of existence to the psychological one, it has won over the presence of time and space. From the moment of creation of an object it carries secret meanings and intentions, those of the creator, but sometimes people's reactions and interpretations are totally different from the original. Works of architecture and art have an invisible dynamism, an ever changing character, endlessly mutating in shape, technique and meaning according to the changes in the subjective space of the viewer.
