Ferris Wheel

Saturday was rainy here in Tokyo, actually we were visited by a Typhoon but today was another story; it was a wonderful day, comfortable, great light, pleasant and peaceful feeling.
My father and I walked from Shibuya to Yoyogi Park, not so far, but we were taking photos together, when we were getting closer to Yoyogi Park we decided to walk through a small street; we saw a cool guy resting and asked him if we could take photos of him, he accepted, then we continued walking and we saw a small gallery with a quite small but amazing exhibition, this is one of the objects exhibited.
I was really surprised and got really happy of seeing this, the detail, the quality of the work, its delicacy... fantastic to my eyes!
The name of this designer is Hiroko, she is doing this kind of Pop-up designs since she is a small girl, I asked her how long does it takes her to make one and she replied that it can take a day, a day of patience and delicacy.
I loved the work and we were lucky to be in that place in the afternoon, the wonderful light of today allowing us to see the play of light and shadow of the paper, the warm and out of this world mood of the place... so nice!
I wish you a wonderful sunday, go out and walk through unexpected and small streets and you will find something interesting for sure, =)
