Volute

A volute is a spiral scroll-like ornament that forms the basis of the Ionic order, found in the capital of the Ionic column.

Una voluta (del latín voluta, de volvere, dar vueltas) es un ornamento característico, en forma de espiral, que forma los ángulos del capitel de la columna jónica.
