Time Machine

This photo was used for the invitation of the architecture forum titled Time Machine, organized by Urbanística Taller del Espacio Público and held at the Centro Cultural Metropolitano on September 8th, 2009.
This event was about contemporary interventions in historical contexts, and had the participation of architects Raúl Monterroso, Alejandro Estrada and Axel Paredes as panelists.
They presented case studies projects that regenerated their specific contexts, giving us a message of developing a design approach rich in innovative ideas, high-performance, integration with the memory of previous interventions, and environmental and social conciousness to achieve a positive impact on cities and society.
The sculptural structure visible in this scene was designed by the architect Rafael Yee.
