Shape Of My Heart (Color)

Posted by Alfredo J. Martiz J. (Panama City, Panama) on 3 August 2008 in Plant & Nature.

Yesterday, Daryl expressed his interest in seeing the original photo in order to make a comparison with the desaturated version I posted. The color photo is beautiful considering that nature itself is beautiful, but my decision to desaturate was because I was interested in giving more importance to the red in the composition by isolating it, therefore I used the Adjustment Brush Tool in Lightroom 2 to make the selective desaturation. I like both versions but I chose the desaturated one for posting.
Which one is your favorite and why, desaturated or color? Please let me know your point of view. I am open to constructive criticism, Thank you!
