Old Memories

Posted by Alfredo J. Martiz J. (Panama City, Panama) on 30 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

Months before coming to Japan, a visit to a familiar place of Panama City brought back memories of my University days. We used to go to the Old Quarter (Casco Viejo) to spend time sketching and drawing the plazas, buildings and details, for the class of architectural expression. If you were lucky enough to visit the Old Quarter during those days, you would have seen groups of young architecture students, carefully observing every detail and reinterpreting the surroundings. I was one of those students once, and this is one of the spots I spent time sketching and drawing with pencil and ink.
