Progression of Ideas

Posted by Alfredo J. Martiz J. (Panama City, Panama) on 15 November 2007 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

I stare at the white surface in front of me, a pure and challenging landscape trying to intimidate me with its emptiness. Blurry thoughts, unrecognizable shapes, patterns without logic, a gathering of amorphous entities.
I close my eyes hoping to discover a special and mystical element in the infinite and expanding universe. Timelessness welcomes me, a motionless surrounding has been arranged.
A magical moment reveals a new course of action, a recognizable figure is introduced. Lack of movement vanishes and the environment of activity produces interesting changes in the whiteness of the wide but finite landscape in front of me.
Déjà vu, a familiar progression is reached, a defined shape is followed by the lack of form of a new path, a constant cycle has been established, a never ending process has been deployed.
The excitement of the design process.
