金木犀

Posted by Alfredo J. Martiz J. (Panama City, Panama) on 12 October 2007 in Plant & Nature.

This flower is called 金木犀 (kinmokusei) here in Japan, in english is known as Sweet Osmanthus. The fragrance of this flower is so refreshing, reminding me of the smell of apricot or peach, this is a typical smell of the beginning of autumn, so lovely!
This photo was shot in front of the apartment where I live, it is possible to feel the scent of this flower inside my apartment, so nice!
