Dimitrios, a very kind member of Aminus3 asked other members of the community to post a photo of ourselves for September 28th and 29th. Thank you very much for the great idea, It was excellent to see the different faces behind the photos.
In this case I decided to extend the theme and post another photo to conclude the month with the portrait theme. This photo is experimental as I had no idea what I wanted to do and what was going to be the outcome. The post-processing was only a bit of adjustment of exposure, cropping and Split Toning, the effect is as it was captured by the camera. I hope you like it!
To see more photos of me, please see the following photos previously posted in this photoblog: -The Camera Eye- Photo of my brother and myself taking each other photo. -Brothers- Photo with my brother when we were kids. -200th Post!- Photo when I was a baby -Self-Portrait- Abstract -100th Post!- Photo from a visit to Ho Chi Minh City at the beginning of this year, here you can see my face.

@Moeko: Thank you very much Moeko!
Cool stuff, I like the textile theme, how did you take it?
30 Sep 2007 4:27am
@Richard_Irwin: Thank you Richard. The texture is from the wall in my apartment, I mounted the camera on the tripod and placed it around 80 cm from the wall and facing it, then I set the shutter speed to 1", used an aperture of f/5.6 and set the Camera's Flash to Rear mode. I went in front of the camera and looked at the lens hoping to get an idea for the composition, then I used the remote controller to shoot and stayed less than a second in front of the camera in order to be captured and after that I moved aside!
very well done the post-processing good job!

As I explained to Richard, the texture is from the wall in my apartment, I mounted the camera on the tripod and placed it around 80 cm from the wall and facing it, then I set the shutter speed to 1", used an aperture of f/5.6 and set the Camera's Flash to Rear mode.
