Remnant of an Ent

...As I was walking I discovered an unusual disposition of what I believed to be a small tree, I stood there facing it in a timeless surrounding, nothing seemed to move, nobody seemed to pass by...
...I had a vision, for a few seconds I was able to see the vanishing figure of a monumental entity from a distant time, a shepherd of the trees trying to give a message...
"There was a time when the earth was covered with abundant vegetation, everything was peaceful and comfortable, balance and harmony existed... we left this world after mankind's promise of taking care of nature and respecting the balance... they have become a threat now" (I observed the sad gesture of the shepherd)
"... but we see hope, if they unite in the same cause of protecting the environment, the outcome can be positive"
