With this photo I conclude the Journey to Fuji-san series, It has been my longest series of photos of a place from Japan, the longest series in this photoblog has been the Ho Chi Minh City series. At the moment I have been busy preparing an animation for a project, I apologize for not being able to visit your wonderful photoblogs and for not replying to your comments, I will as soon as I finish. Thank you for you Understanding, Thank you very much for you visits and comments, I hope you liked this series of photos of a great Journey, =)
This is not the structure I described in yesterday's photo, it was a surprise to find this lonely structure in the deserted and foggy landscape, I wonder what was it used for... let me know your story! =)
Fuji-San. August 18th, 2007. -Previously in the Journey to Fuji-san- 10:30 - Alfredo was trying to see through the fog in order to make a photo of Marcel, Hanna and a couple of Elders. He managed to make the photo
10:39 - Time when I made this photo 11:45 - We arrived to the souvenir and restaurant announced in some signs 13:10 - We headed to Gotemba Station by bus -Long, boring and sleepy time spent inside a bus and many trains- Around 16:30 - I finally arrived home

Simple and enjoyable shot. What I like the most is the simplicity and sharpness of the lines; and the earth tones are simply beautiful. The pic talks for itself.

very good use of the hillside; not your typical horizon shot and it works well, nice edit on the colors...great shot.

@Damon Schreiber: Thank you very much Damon!
Alfredo, this is simply sublime. Makes me wish i'd had my EOS when i climbed Fuji. The b&w is perfect and highlights the barren, lifeless and totally lunar nature of the place. A shot to treasure. Well done matey!
