Panama City Sunset
Posted by Alfredo J. Martiz J. (Panama City, Panama) on 8 June 2007 in Cityscape & Urban.
Today I want to share this beautiful sunset in Panama City. This is the last sunset I was able to photograph before coming to Japan, and again I don't know if I will ever see another sunset like this again.
I remember that some years ago it was much more beautiful to see because there were not so many buildings blocking the view to the sea, then from out of nowhere a building called Decapolis was built and we lost some of this view, now there is a project that soon will be constructed, the name is Megapolis and this building is twice the height of the Decapolis, so we won't be able to see the sea anymore and most of the balance between the sky and buildings will be lost.
For a reference about the location of this project, look at the middle of the photo and inmediately look to the open space in the left where you can see part of Panama Bay, the new project will be the double of the height of the buildings around the middle of this photo and will completely block all the view!
With this wonderful view I conclude a small series of photos of Panama City, later I will post other photos of Panama for you to see.
I hope you like this photo and remember it because probably the next one from this point of view will be completely different!
Thank you very much for your visits and comments!
