I like this photo because it was totally unexpected (something I had not seen before during that day) and everything happened so fast; at some moment I looked to my left into a small street and found this interesting scene, the contrast of darkness and light, how this dark passage leads you to some houses and people interacting, how they live in this place. I just grabbed the camera and shot (this is the only photo I have of this place), after that I thought about going inside but I didn't, I was walking alone and for security reasons I decided I shouldn't go inside and I continued my journey. I wonder what would I have found if I had gone inside; but as I believe, things happen for a reason!
The following text is for people interested in participating in the next Am3 theme project. Read, and feel free to copy and paste this text on your own image page once you have the details...Information obtained from Damon Schreiber's Photoblog
"Ok, here's how the next theme's going to work. I want it to be open to anyone, but there's a catch: if you comment on my photos until the middle of April, I'll send you the details (Aminus3 members only naturally). Then once you have them, you can pass them along to anyone who comments on your photos. This way, we can play a fun game of whispers, and see what we come up with at the end. Of course, you can let me know if you're not interested." -Please visit Damon Schreiber's Photoblog-

@Dawn Sutherland: Thank you Dawn!
This pic reminds me so much of "Casco Viejo" in the old city. I really like this type of buildings. I also like the way in which you played with the shadow and light - nice contrast. Los protagonistas definitivamente no son las personas, sino los objetos (las motos) y el mess de arriba. Te mando un millón de abrazos, mi super amigo! =)
