Ho Chi Minh City Streets (III)

Posted by Alfredo J. Martiz J. (Panama City, Panama) on 7 April 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

I like this photo because it was totally unexpected (something I had not seen before during that day) and everything happened so fast; at some moment I looked to my left into a small street and found this interesting scene, the contrast of darkness and light, how this dark passage leads you to some houses and people interacting, how they live in this place. I just grabbed the camera and shot (this is the only photo I have of this place), after that I thought about going inside but I didn't, I was walking alone and for security reasons I decided I shouldn't go inside and I continued my journey. I wonder what would I have found if I had gone inside; but as I believe, things happen for a reason!

"Ok, here's how the next theme's going to work. I want it to be open to anyone, but there's a catch: if you comment on my photos until the middle of April, I'll send you the details (Aminus3 members only naturally). Then once you have them, you can pass them along to anyone who comments on your photos. This way, we can play a fun game of whispers, and see what we come up with at the end. Of course, you can let me know if you're not interested."
