Hanami

Today was a wonderful day, I had the opportunity to spend a wonderful time with some friends in Yoyogi-kōen for Hanami!
Hanami is a Japanese tradition that consist in enjoying the beauty of flowers, in special the Sakura or Ume blossoms. It is said that this tradition started during the Nara Period (710-784 A.D) when the Chinese Tang Dynasty influenced Japan in many ways.
During Hanami people gather in parks for picnic under the trees; it is really nice to see everybody happy and relaxed, just enjoying the nice moment with friends and admiring the Sakura.

xups fred!!?? esta foto está muy cool... tu sabes que los colores me encantan, pero me parece que se hubiera visto más cool con la hierbita de atrás también de verde. El contraste entre los árboles (me imagino que en b&w) con el color de las personas te quedó del k...
Es como "silence in the sky, noise on the ground". Me siento en paz, pero al mismo tiempo siento la energía del momento. Cool combinación de feelings!
