Afternoon Nap

It was a hot day, believe me, a really hot one. I walked around Ho Chi Minh City probably like 4 hours that day and by the time I saw this old woman I was starting to feel really tired. I guess that after I saw her I thought of nothing more than taking an afternoon nap but my curiosity kept me walking and observing.

@Makoto: Thank you very much Makoto, I am using the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom right now, I decreased the vibrance of colors and then I tried using split toning for the shot, I used yellow for the light tones and some kind of blue for the dark tones, this processing was kind of a experiment for me!

I like the light colors in the pic. Is the lady taking a rest or selling something? I guess she's just taking a rest. jajaja.. lo de la chancleta, pensé que se le había dañado. =)

I really like this kind of pictures which represents a scene of daily life. No composition, no extraordinary events, nothing special in fact... but full of feelings and emotions. The treatment of the colors is very good, it's just good enough to make your photo original. We appreciate your job.
