wow.....that is awesome! I love how you composed the shot too...not making the post in the centre...so it seems like the dragonfly's poised to take off the 'runway' into the air/blankspace on the right =D Great job!

Alfredo mate. You have a great shot here. Love the green and the orange colour in the dragonflys back. Excellent

@Darren: Thank you Darren, one thing that I loved too, is the colors of the dragonfly!
Nice macro mate. I agree with Wayne, by placing the dragonfly off-centre you create some great visual tension as there's a place for it to fly off to. The green shading (foreground and background) is also fantastic and really ties the scene together.

@Chris Sullivan: Thank you Chris! When I was shooting it I had some doubts about how to place everything, I'm glad it was a good choice!
Awesome capture!

@Still: Thank you Still!
My dear friend Alfredo, this is a very nice and most likely difficult shot. If you have another opportunity like this to catch a dragonfly, it would be great to take a frontal closeup shot of it. Hugs, Liss.

@paperdoll: Thank you paperdoll, if I have a chance I will try a frontal one!
DOF is beautiful. I love the wisps of bokeh in the back. Which lens did you use?

@Michael Zhang: Thank you Michael! So far I have been using a Sigma Zoom Lens 18-200 mm, it has worked great for me.

@Yael Lucas: Gracias Yael, I'm glad you liked it!
believe me when I say that this is a great dragonfly macro photography. Why? Well, because they are difficult to shoot, and this is the one that has most of focus and definition. Great job.
